PickMerge privacy policy

Last updated 2026-09-30. This page covers the PickMerge add-on for Google Sheets. Our shared billing and licensing policy is at addons.greatwork.company/privacy and applies too.

Who we are

PickMerge is made by Great Work LLC, 651 N Broad St Suite 206, Middletown, DE 19709, USA. Contact: hello@greatwork.company.

Google user data PickMerge accesses, and why

Where the data goes

Merging happens inside Google: PickMerge runs in Google Apps Script under your account and talks only to Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive and Google's email service. Your spreadsheet contents, templates and generated documents are never sent to or stored on Great Work servers.

Our license server (addons.greatwork.company) receives only your Google account email address, the add-on name and how many documents you have generated. If you subscribe, Stripe processes the payment; card details go to Stripe, not to us.

PickMerge stores your settings for each tab (template file id, output options, email subject and message) in the spreadsheet's own add-on storage, and a small amount of per-user state (for example whether you dismissed the review prompt) in your Google account's add-on storage. Both stay in Google.

Sharing

We don't sell, rent or share Google user data. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't use it to train AI or machine learning models. People at Great Work don't read your data; support only sees what you choose to send us by email.

Limited Use

PickMerge's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

Security

Requests between PickMerge and our license server are signed and sent over HTTPS. The add-on can only call the Google API hosts and our license server listed in its manifest.

Changes

If we change how PickMerge uses Google data, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect, and ask for any new permission through Google's consent screen.
