Variables and styles organizer for Figma
Tokenmend reads every local variable and style in your file and finds every place they're used, on every page. It shows what's unused, what's duplicated, which aliases are broken, which names don't follow the rest and which modes are missing values. Then it fixes them in bulk: rename with find and replace or regular expressions, set scopes and code syntax, sort styles, delete what nothing uses, bind hard-coded colours and numbers to the right variable, swap one variable or style for another, and export design tokens and code. Every change has a preview and one undo.

What you get

- Unused variables and styles, duplicates by value, broken aliases (missing, wrong type or circular), naming that breaks the file's own convention, and modes without a value

What Figma does on its own, and what it doesn't
Figma exports variables as W3C token files, one per mode, and imports them. It edits scopes and publishing for several variables at once, and Check designs suggests variables for hard-coded values one page at a time. It doesn't count where a variable or style is used, find unused or duplicate ones, rename in bulk, set code syntax in bulk, export styles as tokens, write CSS, Tailwind or Swift, or swap one variable or style for another across a file. Tokenmend does those.
What Tokenmend doesn't do
It works on the file's local variables and styles. Library variables and styles are counted where they're used but changed in their own library file. Figma's plugin API can't reorder variables, so only styles are sorted. Prototype actions that set a variable keep pointing to the old one after a swap; the swap tells you how many to change by hand.
