Lintmend privacy policy
Last updated 2026-10-05. Lintmend is a Figma plugin made by Great Work LLC, 651 N Broad St Suite 206, Middletown, DE 19709 (hello@greatwork.company).
Your files
Lintmend reads the layers you ask it to lint (a selection, the current page or every page): names, positions, sizes, visibility, colours, styles, variables, corner radii, auto layout, text and fonts, instances and prototype interactions. It also reads the file's variables and styles. The rules, the score and the reports run inside the plugin, on your computer. Nothing from your file, no names, text, colours or pictures, is sent to us or anyone else.
What the plugin changes and stores
- Your design changes only when you click a fix, and each fix run is one undo step.
- In your Figma file: the file's lint settings and ignore list (which layers are excused from which rules, with the Figma display name of who ignored them and the date), and the score card if you place one.
- In Figma's plugin storage on your computer (figma.clientStorage): the scope you last used, your trial counter, your license key and a cached copy of your license status.
What we receive
- License checks (addons.greatwork.company): your license key, the product id, your Figma user id and display name (so the buyer can see which accounts use their seats), and your IP address in server logs kept for up to 14 days.
- Purchases: Stripe collects your name, email and payment details on its own checkout page. We store your email, the Stripe customer and subscription ids, your license key (as a one-way hash) and its activations.
We keep purchase and license records while your license exists and for as long as tax law requires afterwards. Email hello@greatwork.company to see or delete your data.
Third parties
- stripe.com: payments and billing portal
- resend.com: sends your license key and billing links by email
- DigitalOcean (New York): hosts addons.greatwork.company
No analytics, advertising or AI services are used, and we never sell data.
Changes
We'll update the date above and, for material changes, email license holders.
