Pictokiln privacy policy
Last updated 2026-10-05. Pictokiln is a Figma plugin made by Great Work LLC, 651 N Broad St Suite 206, Middletown, DE 19709 (hello@greatwork.company).
Your files
Pictokiln reads the icons in the scope you choose (the selection, the page or the whole file): their names, descriptions, sizes, layers, colours, strokes and points, and asks Figma for each icon's SVG. To outline strokes and to make the icon font, it works on a temporary copy of each icon that it deletes straight away; your icons are never changed. Every output file is written inside the plugin, on your computer. With a ZIP export nothing leaves your computer. Nothing from your file is ever sent to us.
GitHub pull requests
Only if you choose a GitHub pull request: the generated files, a commit message, a branch name and the pull request text are sent from your computer straight to api.github.com, to the repository you entered, using the GitHub token you pasted in. The token is kept in Figma's plugin storage on your computer, is never written into the Figma file and is never sent to us. Remove it any time from the Export tab. GitHub's own privacy statement applies to what you send to your repository.
What the plugin stores
- In Figma's plugin storage on your computer (figma.clientStorage): your options, your trial counter, your license key and a cached copy of your license status, and your GitHub token if you saved one.
- In your Figma file, shared with everyone who opens it: the package settings (package and font names, prefixes, outputs), the GitHub repository and folder, the list of icons in the last export with a fingerprint of each (for the change list) and the icon font codes.
What we receive
- License checks (addons.greatwork.company): your license key, the product id, your Figma user id and display name (so the buyer can see which accounts use their seats), and your IP address in server logs kept for up to 14 days.
- Purchases: Stripe collects your name, email and payment details on its own checkout page. We store your email, the Stripe customer and subscription ids, your license key (as a one-way hash) and its activations.
We keep purchase and license records while your license exists and for as long as tax law requires afterwards. Email hello@greatwork.company to see or delete your data.
Third parties
- stripe.com: payments and billing portal
- resend.com: sends your license key and billing links by email
- DigitalOcean (New York): hosts addons.greatwork.company
- github.com: only when you open a pull request, with your own account
No analytics, advertising or AI services are used, and we never sell data.
Changes
We'll update the date above and, for material changes, email license holders.
