Fontmend privacy policy

Your files

Fontmend reads the text layers in the scope you choose (selection, page or whole file): their fonts, sizes, line heights, letter spacing, text styles, and whether they are locked, hidden or inside components. It reads the list of fonts Figma can use on your computer. When you replace fonts it changes those layers, your local text styles and, if you choose, main components in your file. All of this happens inside Figma on your computer. Nothing from your file, no text, layer names or font lists, is sent to us or anyone else. Reports and audit CSVs are saved by you, on your computer.

What the plugin stores

• In Figma's plugin storage on your computer (figma.clientStorage): your options, your replace rules, your trial counter, your license key and a cached copy of your license status.
• In your Figma file: a relaunch button on the file after a replace run, so the plugin is one click away next time.

What we receive

• License checks (addons.greatwork.company): your license key, the product id, your Figma user id and display name (so the buyer can see which accounts use their seats), and your IP address in server logs kept for up to 14 days.
• Purchases: Stripe collects your name, email and payment details on its own checkout page. We store your email, the Stripe customer and subscription ids, your license key (as a one-way hash) and its activations.

We keep purchase and license records while your license exists and for as long as tax law requires afterwards. Email hello@greatwork.company to see or delete your data.

No analytics, advertising or AI services are used, and we never sell data.
