Lakh and crore

Five languages, done right

English (US, UK, India), Spanish, French (with Belgian and Swiss numbers), German and Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), with each language's grammar.

Contracts in Docs

Find every amount in a document, preview "One Thousand Dollars ($1,000)", convert the ones you check, or insert an amount at the cursor.

Help

The formula says "Open Sumscribe once".

Custom functions can't check your plan on their own, so the sidebar does it. Open Extensions > Sumscribe > Open Sumscribe once and the formulas switch on. Paid plans re-check daily in the background.

A coworker sees #NAME?.

Custom functions from an add-on only calculate for people who have the add-on installed. They can install Sumscribe; if you're on a paid plan, the formulas in your files keep working for them. Or use Convert to write plain text that anyone can see.

What counts as a trial use?

One Convert run in Sheets or Docs, or one Insert at cursor, however many numbers it changes. Previews and formulas don't use any.

I need another language or currency.

Email us. We add languages only when we can test every grammar rule, so we'd rather tell you than guess.
