Privacy: Twinrow
Last updated 2026-10-01. This page adds add-on specific detail to the Great Work privacy policy, which covers the licensing and billing service. Twinrow differs from our other spreadsheet add-ons in one way: at your request, it sends the contents of the spreadsheet tabs you sync to Notion, a third-party service you connect, and writes Notion data back into them.
Google data the add-on accesses
- The current spreadsheet (spreadsheets.currentonly): the tabs you set up for syncing, the header row, the rows' values, formulas (only to avoid overwriting them) and Twinrow's own columns; plus a "Twinrow sync log" tab it creates.
- Spreadsheets you turned automatic sync on for (spreadsheets): only so the hourly sync and the instant edit sync can open that spreadsheet while it is closed. Twinrow opens only spreadsheets whose ID you enabled automation for, and never lists, reads or changes any other file.
- Triggers (script.scriptapp): to create and remove the hourly and on-edit triggers you switch on in the Automate tab.
- Your email address (userinfo.email): to identify your license.
- Sidebar (script.container.ui) and outbound requests (script.external_request): to show the sidebar and to talk to the Notion API and our licensing service.
How it is used and where it goes
- When a sync runs (you clicked Sync now, or an automation you turned on fired), Twinrow reads the synced tab inside Google's Apps Script environment and sends the changed values over HTTPS directly to the Notion API (api.notion.com) with your Notion connection. It reads the connected Notion database the same way and writes changed values into the tab.
- Spreadsheet content never reaches Great Work servers. The only data sent to Great Work (addons.greatwork.company) is your Google account email address, the add-on name and a count of row changes, to run the trial and your subscription.
- Once data is in Notion, Notion's privacy policy and your workspace's settings govern it.
What is stored, and where
- Your Notion connection: the OAuth tokens Notion issues when you click Connect Notion, or the integration secret you paste. Stored in your own Apps Script user properties inside Google, readable only by the add-on running as you. Never shared with collaborators and never sent to Great Work.
- Each tab's sync setup and progress (database ID and name, column mapping, rules, last sync times): stored on the tab itself as developer metadata, visible only to this add-on, so collaborators see the same setup.
- Per-row sync memory: hidden columns in the tab hold each row's Notion page ID, short fingerprints (hashes) of the last synced values, and the time the row was last edited in the sheet.
- The sync log tab: conflicts and values replaced by a rule, with both values, so you can see and undo what happened. You can delete rows or the whole tab any time.
- A 6-hour cache of related page titles (Apps Script user cache), to show relation columns as names.
Sharing
We don't sell, rent or share Google user data. Spreadsheet data goes only to the Notion workspace you connected. Payment details go to Stripe, never to us.
Limited Use
Twinrow's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is transferred only to Notion, at your explicit request, to provide the sync you set up. We don't use Google user data for advertising, no person at Great Work reads your spreadsheets, and we don't use it to train AI models.
Deleting your data
- Disconnect Notion in the Connect tab deletes your stored Notion connection. To also revoke it on Notion's side, remove the integration in Notion under Settings, Connections.
- Stop syncing this tab removes the tab's setup and turns off its automation; your rows stay. Delete the hidden Twinrow columns and the sync log tab if you want them gone too.
- Uninstalling the add-on stops all access and its triggers stop running.
- To delete your license record (email, usage count, subscription ids), email hello@greatwork.company from that account. We delete it within 30 days, apart from billing records the law requires us to keep.
