Trafficledger privacy policy
Last updated October 2, 2026. This page covers the Trafficledger Google Sheets add-on. Billing and our licensing server are covered by the shared Great Work add-ons privacy policy, which also applies.
Who we are
Great Work LLC, 651 N Broad St Suite 206, Middletown, DE 19709, USA. Contact: hello@greatwork.company.
What Google data Trafficledger accesses, and why
- Google Analytics (read-only). The names and IDs of the Google Analytics accounts and GA4 properties you can see, so you can pick one; each property's time zone, currency and list of dimensions and metrics (including custom definitions), so reports use the right dates and you can choose fields; and the report results you ask for, standard and realtime. Trafficledger cannot change anything in Google Analytics.
- The spreadsheet you have open. Trafficledger writes its configuration sheet and your report tabs there. It does not open, list or create any other file, and it has no access to your Google Drive.
- Your Google account email address, to look up your subscription on our licensing server and to record who turned on a spreadsheet's schedule.
Where your data goes
Google Analytics data travels from Google's servers directly into your spreadsheet, inside Google's Apps Script environment, under your own Google account. It is never sent to, processed on or stored on Great Work's servers. The only things our licensing server receives are your email address, the add-on's name, and a count of trial uses.
What is stored, and where
- Report results: in your spreadsheet's report tabs, until you delete them.
- Report settings: in the "Trafficledger Reports" sheet of your spreadsheet.
- Schedule settings: in the spreadsheet's add-on document properties (inside Google).
- The latest quota numbers Google returned for each property you used, and whether you've answered the review prompt: in your add-on user properties (inside Google).
- Your property list (10 minutes) and each property's field list (6 hours): in Apps Script's per-user cache (inside Google), to keep the sidebar fast.
Running while you're away
If you turn on scheduled refresh, Trafficledger creates one hourly trigger for that spreadsheet. It runs your saved reports as you, at the times you chose, and writes the results into that spreadsheet. Turn it off any time in the Schedule tab; that deletes the trigger.
How we use the data
Only to show you the reports you configured, in your spreadsheet. We don't sell it, share it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI or machine-learning models, and no person at Great Work reads it. Trafficledger's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Deleting your data and revoking access
- In the add-on: Schedule tab, "Turn off the schedule and clear saved settings" removes the trigger and stored settings.
- Report tabs and the configuration sheet are ordinary tabs in your spreadsheet; delete them any time.
- Remove Trafficledger's access to your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Scheduled runs stop immediately.
- To have your email removed from our licensing records, write to hello@greatwork.company.
Cookies
Trafficledger sets no cookies of its own. The sidebar runs inside Google Sheets under Google's own cookies and policies.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects your data, we'll update the date above and note the change in the add-on.
