Privacy: Scheduled Sheet Reports
Last updated 2026-09-30. This page adds add-on specific detail to the Great Work privacy policy, which covers the licensing and billing service.
Google data the add-on accesses
- The spreadsheet you use it in (scope
spreadsheets.currentonly): the cells, formatting and charts of the ranges or sheets you choose to send, the cells you reference in a condition or subject line, and the list of sheet names. It cannot open any other file in your Drive. - Your email address (
userinfo.email): to identify your license, to mark which reports you own, and to send you notices about your reports. - Sending email as you (
script.send_mail): reports are sent from your Google account to the recipients you enter, and appear in your Sent mail. The add-on cannot read your inbox.
How it is used and where it is stored
- Report contents are read from the spreadsheet at send time, turned into an email table, PDF, Excel or CSV inside Google's Apps Script environment, and emailed to your recipients. They are not copied to Great Work servers or anywhere else.
- Report settings (name, range, recipients, subject, message, schedule, conditions) and a log of the last 60 sends are stored in the spreadsheet's own add-on storage (Apps Script document properties). Anyone who can edit the spreadsheet and runs the add-on can see, pause or delete them. Deleting a report deletes its settings.
- A few per-user settings (pause-everywhere, the list of spreadsheets where you have reports, whether you've seen the review prompt, a daily test-send counter) are stored in your Apps Script user properties inside Google.
- The only data sent to Great Work (addons.greatwork.company) is your Google account email address, the add-on name and a count of sends, to run the trial and your subscription. No spreadsheet contents, recipient addresses or email text ever leave Google.
Sharing
We don't sell, rent or share Google user data. Report emails go only to the recipients you configure. Payment details go to Stripe, never to us.
Limited Use
Scheduled Sheet Reports' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don't use Google user data for advertising, and no person at Great Work reads your spreadsheet data. We don't use it to train AI models.
Deleting your data
- Delete a report from the sidebar to remove its settings, or use Stop all to pause every report in a spreadsheet.
- Before uninstalling, delete your reports (or use Stop all) in each spreadsheet so nothing else is sent, then uninstall from Extensions > Add-ons > Manage add-ons. Report settings stay in a spreadsheet's add-on storage until the report is deleted.
- To delete your license record (email, use count, subscription ids), email hello@greatwork.company from that account. We delete it within 30 days, apart from billing records the law requires us to keep.
