What it does

Email alone, or first name + last name + company. Rows match when every column you tick matches.

"Jon Smith" and "John Smith", "Smith, John", "ACME Inc" and "Acme, Inc.". A closeness slider and a match score on every group.
Knows emails and phones

Deletes duplicate responses in the form itself, so the Summary tab counts each person once. Optional cleanup on every submit.
Nothing changes until you've seen it
- Every run starts with a free preview of each group, with the row that stays marked. Click a row to jump to it.
- Removing or merging rows always makes a backup tab first, and asks you to confirm. Restore puts the backup back in one click and keeps the current tab too.
- If someone edits the sheet between your preview and Apply, you get a new preview, never a surprise.
- In Forms, the delete button unlocks only after you've downloaded a CSV of the responses that will go.

Privacy
- Copycull can only open the spreadsheet or form you use it in (
spreadsheets.currentonly,forms.currentonly). It can't see your other files, your Drive or your email. - Your data stays in Google. Our server receives your email address and a count of cleanups to check your plan, nothing from your files.
- We don't sell data, use it for ads, or use it to train AI. Copycull's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How do I open it?
In a Sheet: Extensions > Copycull > Find duplicates. In a Form: the puzzle-piece icon > Copycull > Find duplicates.
Does deleting form responses also clean the linked spreadsheet?
No. Google keeps every row in the linked response sheet. Open that spreadsheet and run Copycull there too if you want it clean.
How big a sheet can it handle?
Up to 2 million cells per run and 50,000 rows changed at a time. Large deletes continue automatically in a second step and only ever touch rows you confirmed.
What counts as a cleanup?
Each time you click Apply or delete form responses. Previews and backup downloads are free.
