Import any API into Google Sheets, and keep it fresh

Cellfetch pulls JSON from Stripe, Shopify, Airtable, Notion or any web API into your spreadsheet, page by page, into the columns you choose, every hour, day or week.

What it does

Any API, or a preset

Paste a URL, or start from Stripe, GitHub, Airtable, Notion, Shopify, Typeform, Calendly, ClickUp, WooCommerce or Etsy.

Every page

Page numbers, offsets, cursors, next links, Link headers and Stripe-style "starting after". You get all the records, not the first 100.

The columns you want

JSONPath picks and renames columns: customer.email as Email, items[*].sku as SKUs.

Refresh on a schedule

Hourly, every 6 hours, daily or weekly, with the sheet closed. Replace, append new rows, or update rows by ID.

Your keys stay yours

API key, Bearer, Basic or OAuth 2.0, saved in your Google account, locked to the hosts you approve. Never in the sheet, never on our servers.

A formula too

=CELLFETCH("https://...") or the name of a saved request. Options for pages, columns, caching and dates.

Set it up in two minutes

  1. Install Cellfetch, open a Google Sheet, then choose Extensions > Cellfetch > Open.
  2. Pick a preset or "Any API". Paste the URL.
  3. If the API needs a key, add a connection: paste the key and the host it belongs to (like api.stripe.com).
  4. Click Preview to see the first page without writing anything. If your records sit inside the response, click the suggested JSONPath.
  5. Pick a tab, choose replace / append / update, optionally a schedule, then Save and run.
=CELLFETCH("https://restcountries.com/v3.1/all?fields=name,region", "", "fields=name.common as Country,region as Region")

Pricing

$144 per year

About $12 a month. Unlimited requests, connections, schedules and spreadsheets for one Google account.

$15 per month

Same features, billed monthly.

Free trial

50 runs or 14 days, whichever comes first. Previews don't count. No card needed.

No surprise charges. We never charge you unless you start a checkout yourself. The add-on shows your trial status from the first minute. When the trial ends, imports and schedules pause (nothing is charged) and the add-on tells you why.

No request caps from us. Paid plans have no daily request limit of ours. Google's own daily web-request quota for your account still applies.

Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price until you cancel. Cancel any time from Plans and billing in the add-on, in one step. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Right to cancel (UK and EU). If you're a consumer in the UK or EU, you can cancel within 14 days of buying and get a full refund. Email hello@greatwork.company, or cancel in Plans and billing and reply to the receipt.

Mistakes. Charged twice or by accident? Email us and we'll refund it.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card number.

Why switch from another API add-on

The formula shows #NAME? and "doesn't work"Tells you the one-time fix (open the add-on once in the file) and checks your plan without breaking.

Can't stop a schedule"Stop all my schedules" is one click, always visible.

Help

My formula shows #NAME?

Open Extensions > Cellfetch > Open once in that file. Google turns add-on formulas on per file after the add-on has been opened there.

The request works but the sheet is empty, or has one big cell.

Your records are inside the response, under a key like data or results. Click Preview; Cellfetch suggests the JSONPath (for example $.data). Click it, then preview again.

I only get the first page.

Set Pages to the style your API uses (the presets do this). The API docs usually call it "pagination". Raise Max pages per run for more.

401 or 403 errors

The API didn't accept the key or the key lacks permission. Check the connection type (some APIs want the key in a header, some as a Bearer token) and the key's scopes.

How often can it refresh?

Google runs add-on schedules at most once an hour. Each page counts toward Google's daily web-request quota (about 20,000 for personal accounts and 100,000 for Google Workspace).

Still stuck?

Email hello@greatwork.company with the request URL (not your key) and the message from the Log tab. A person replies within one business day.
