What it does
Every question type
Multiple choice, checkboxes, dropdowns, scales, ratings, grids, dates, numbers and written answers. Options nobody picked still show up.
Filter by date or answer
Last week, last month, since the last report or custom dates. Only responses where Department is Math, or the rating is at most 2.
Compare groups
Break results down by session, grade, location or any multiple choice question. Groups smaller than your minimum stay hidden.
Names left out
Questions that look like names, emails, phone numbers or IDs are left out until you tick them. Written answers show as common words unless you choose to quote them.
PDF and scheduled email
One click for a PDF. Or email the report daily, weekly or monthly with the PDF attached, and skip it when nothing is new.
The numbers people ask for
Averages and medians, Net Promoter Score for 0 to 10 questions, quiz scores with the most-missed questions.
How it works
- Install Formbrief, open your form, then Extensions > Formbrief > Summary reports.
- Pick the dates, add filters, choose what to break the results down by.
- Preview, download the PDF, or add recipients and turn on a schedule.
Formbrief only opens the form you're working in. It has no access to your Google Drive, Gmail or Sheets. Responses are read inside Google and never sent to our servers; reports go only to the people you list.
Pricing
Billed monthly. Cancel any time.
Billed once a year, about $31.58 a month.
Free trial: 14 days or 15 reports, whichever comes first. Previews don't count; each PDF download or emailed report counts as one. You won't be charged unless you pick a plan. When the trial ends, scheduled reports pause and we send you one email saying so.
Renewal and cancelling
Plans renew automatically at the end of each month or year at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. Cancel any time in Extensions > Formbrief > Plans and billing > Manage billing; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Customers in the UK and the EU can cancel within 14 days of subscribing for a full refund: email hello@greatwork.company.
Questions
Can I see the Google Forms summary for only a date range?
Not in Google Forms: the Summary tab always shows every response. Formbrief builds the summary for any date range and can filter by answer too.
Can I share results without sharing names or comments?
Yes. Personal-looking questions are left out by default, written answers can be shown as word counts or hidden, and small groups are hidden in breakdowns. Recipients don't need access to the form.
Who can stop a scheduled report?
Anyone who can edit the form can pause or delete it from the sidebar, and Pause all stops every schedule on the form. The report's owner can resume it.
Does it work with checkbox questions?
Yes, counted per respondent, with a note that the percentages add up to more than 100%. Checkbox grids work too.
