Limit how many people can pick each choice in Google Forms
Slotkeeper turns any multiple choice, dropdown or checkbox question into a sign-up sheet. Full slots disappear, come back when someone cancels, and can keep a waitlist.

Type how many people can pick each option. Leave one empty and it never fills.
When a slot is taken it's removed from the form. Delete a response and it comes back by itself.
A full slot can stay as "(waitlist)". When a spot opens, the first person waiting gets it and an email.
"Tue 4:15 PM (2 left)" helps people decide fast. Reword it or switch it off.
Point at a "How many people?" question and each response takes that many seats.
Booked, waitlisted, moved up, or "it filled up just before you submitted". Your wording.
Daily, weekly or once. Earlier responses stop taking a spot; nothing is deleted.
Who's booked and who's waiting, copied into a sheet in one click.
How to set it up
- Install Slotkeeper, open your form, then Extensions > Slotkeeper > Set limits.
- Tick the question with your slots and type a limit next to each choice.
- Optional: a waitlist size, confirmation emails, a weekly reset.
- Click Turn on limits. You see exactly what will change on the form and a preview of every email before anything happens.
What we fixed
We read the reviews of the choice limiters people use today. These are the complaints, and what Slotkeeper does instead.
- "Limits stopped working until I paid." Slotkeeper shows the price before you start, emails you before the trial ends, and you choose in advance whether the form closes or stays open. It never quietly lets people overbook.
- "Spam after installing." We never send you marketing email.
- "The lite version lost per-slot limits." Every plan has a separate limit for every choice.
- "It needs access to my whole Drive." Slotkeeper can only see the form you open it in. It can't read your Gmail, your Drive or your other forms.
- "Two people got the last spot." If two responses arrive in the same second, the later one is put on the waitlist (or told the slot filled up), not double-booked.
- "Support never answered." A person replies within one business day at hello@greatwork.company.

Questions
Can Google Forms limit responses per option on its own?
No. Google Forms can stop accepting responses or limit people to one response each, but it can't give each choice its own limit. That is what Slotkeeper adds.
What happens when every slot is full?
The form closes and shows your message (for example "All spots are taken"). It reopens by itself if a spot frees up.
Someone cancelled. How do I free their spot?
Delete their response in the form's Responses tab. The spot reopens the next time Slotkeeper counts: when you open the sidebar, on the next response, or within the hour. If there's a waitlist, the first person waiting gets the spot and an email.
Can I reuse the form every week?
Yes. Set a weekly reset (for example Monday 6:00 am). Earlier responses stay in your form but no longer take a spot.
What does it need permission for?
To see and change the form it's opened in, send the emails you turn on from your account, run when you're not there (so limits update on every response), show its sidebar, and check your plan with our licensing server. It can't read your email or your Drive.
What happens when my trial ends?
We email you a few days before. When it ends, Slotkeeper closes the form so nobody is double-booked, or leaves it open without limits, whichever you picked in Settings. You are never charged unless you choose a plan.
Privacy
Your responses stay in your form. Slotkeeper stores its settings and booking status inside the form and never sends response data to our servers; our licensing server only sees your Google account email and how many sign-ups you've used. Slotkeeper's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Full policy: Privacy · Terms.
