Send Google Forms responses to Slack, Discord, Teams and more
Form Bugle posts every new form response to the chat your team already watches: Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Telegram, or a webhook for Zapier, Make and n8n. One add-on for all of them.
Email us to get Form Bugle See pricingWhat it does
Add as many destinations as you like to each form: a Slack channel for the team, a Discord channel for big deals, a Telegram chat on your phone.
"Plan is Enterprise" goes to #sales. "Rating is less than 3" goes to support. Combine conditions with all or any.
Pick which answers each channel sees, so phone numbers and private notes stay out of busy channels.
Switch any destination to an hourly or daily summary instead of one message per response.
If a service is down or rate-limits you, Form Bugle retries for about a day. The log lists every post, retry and error.
Clean JSON with every answer and file link, plus an optional HMAC signature header your endpoint can verify.
Set it up
- Install Form Bugle, open your form, then choose Extensions > Form Bugle > Set up chat alerts.
- Under Add a destination, pick your app and paste its link (how to get one is below).
- Click Send test. A message starting with [Test] appears in your channel.
- Optional: add conditions, choose which answers to include, or switch to a digest.
- Click Review and turn on, check the previews, tick the box, and turn it on. Change a link later and posting pauses until you approve it again.
Slack
Go to api.slack.com/apps, create an app for your workspace, open Incoming Webhooks, switch it on, click Add New Webhook to Workspace, pick the channel and copy the URL (it starts with https://hooks.slack.com/services/). Workflow Builder webhook links work too; add a variable named text to your workflow.
Discord
Open the channel's settings (gear icon), then Integrations > Webhooks > New Webhook > Copy Webhook URL.
Microsoft Teams
In the channel, click ... > Workflows, choose Post to a channel when a webhook request is received, finish the steps and copy the URL. Older Office 365 connector links keep working as long as Microsoft supports them.
Google Chat
Open the space, then Apps & integrations > Webhooks > Add webhook, name it and copy the URL. (Webhooks are available on Google Workspace accounts.)
Telegram
Message @BotFather, send /newbot and copy the token. Add your bot to the group (or send it a message), paste the token in Form Bugle and click Find my chats to pick the chat.
Webhooks (Zapier, Make, n8n and others)
Supported hosts: Zapier (hooks.zapier.com), Make (*.make.com), n8n Cloud (*.app.n8n.cloud), Pipedream (*.m.pipedream.net), IFTTT (maker.ifttt.com), ntfy (ntfy.sh) and the chat apps above. Google requires add-ons to declare every host they can contact, so other hosts can't be reached; email us and we'll add yours. Each response is POSTed as JSON:
{
"event": "form.response",
"title": "New response: Request a quote",
"form": { "id": "1FAIpQ...", "title": "Request a quote", "responses_url": "https://docs.google.com/forms/d/.../edit#responses" },
"response": {
"id": "2_ABaOnud...",
"submitted_at": "2026-09-30T14:02:11.000Z",
"respondent_email": "priya@halcyonlabs.io",
"edit_url": "https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/.../viewform?edit2=...",
"answers": { "Full name": "Priya Natarajan", "Team size": "51-200" },
"items": [ { "title": "Team size", "type": "MULTIPLE_CHOICE", "value": "51-200", "values": ["51-200"], "file_urls": [] } ]
}
}
With a signing secret set, each request carries X-Form-Bugle-Signature: sha256=<hex>, the HMAC-SHA256 of the raw body with your secret.
Pricing
About $3.25 a month. Unlimited forms and destinations for one Google account.
Same features, billed monthly.
Lifetime access for one Google account. No renewals.
Team plan: everyone at your company email domain.
100 form responses or 14 days, whichever comes first. No card needed.
No surprise charges. We never charge you unless you start a checkout yourself. The add-on shows your trial status from the first minute. When the trial ends, posting pauses (it doesn't charge), your channel gets one short notice, and responses that arrive while paused are kept in a list you can post with one click after subscribing.
Renewal. Monthly, annual and team plans renew automatically at the same price until you cancel. Cancel any time from Plans and billing in the add-on, in one step. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. The lifetime plan is a single payment and never renews.
Right to cancel (UK and EU). If you're a consumer in the UK or EU, you can cancel within 14 days of buying and get a full refund. Email hello@greatwork.company or cancel in Plans and billing and reply to the receipt.
Mistakes. Charged twice or by accident? Email us and we'll refund it.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card number.
Why switch
| What people complain about | What Form Bugle does |
|---|---|
| Clicking Add does nothing; the channel never saves | One sidebar, a Send test button on every destination, and clear errors if a link is wrong. |
| 10 or 30 free responses, then a paywall | 100 responses or 14 days to try it, then unlimited on any paid plan. |
| One add-on per chat app | Slack, Discord, Teams, Google Chat, Telegram and webhooks in one. |
| Slow, or stopped working after an API change | Built on today's APIs (Teams Workflows, Discord embeds, Slack Block Kit), with retries and a full log. |
| Install link 404s, support never replies | A person answers hello@greatwork.company within one business day. |
| Asks to see all your forms | Can only see the form it's opened in, and can't read or send email. |
Help
A message didn't arrive.
Open the add-on and check the Log tab. It shows every post, retry, skip and error with the reason, for example "the webhook was deleted" or "no destination's conditions matched". Use Send test on the destination to check the link.
Can collaborators see my webhook links?
No. Links and tokens are stored in your own Google account, not in the form. Collaborators can see that alerts are on and who manages them; only you can change them.
Why can't I paste my own server's URL?
Google makes add-ons list every host they can send data to, which protects your form data. Email us the host and we'll add it in the next update.
What counts as a trial use?
One form response that gets posted or queued for a digest, however many destinations it goes to. Tests, previews, retries and responses that match no destination are free.
Still stuck?
Email hello@greatwork.company. A person replies within one business day.
Privacy
- Google data it accesses: the questions and responses of the one form you open it in. It can't see your other forms, your Drive or your email, and it can't send email.
- Where responses go: only to the destinations you add and approve, with only the answers you chose for each. Once posted, the message is held by that service (Slack, Discord, Microsoft, Google Chat, Telegram or your webhook host) under its own policy.
- Where settings are stored: destination settings live in your form's add-on storage. Links, tokens, the delivery log and pending retries and digests live in your own Google account's private add-on storage. Retry and digest copies are deleted once delivered, after about a day of failed retries, or when you turn alerts off.
- What reaches Great Work: your Google account email, the product id and a count of trial uses, for billing. Form responses never pass through our servers. See the full privacy policy.
- Sharing: we don't sell data, use it for ads, or use it to train AI models.
- Form Bugle's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
